If you think back to when I first got into the business, there were people who I met in '96-'97 that have become life-long friends. They are people that mentored me, brought me to a place to make me become a better person; there are people I chased to beat along the way. There is a responsibility I feel to give back to people getting into the business, and every time I come to an MRINetwork event, I feel like I always walk away with something...

Just to see how much bigger it is than just our office – and to experience the full magnitude of the Network, and the resources, and the content, and the learning that is available... I think it is pretty unreal – the ability to connect with other people who are doing the same thing that you are doing is really cool.

The United conference is one of the only times we can get all of the network together at once. There's really not another spot in the world where you can have this many excellent recruiters in one place at the same time to learn, grow, and build relationships and reconnect with people... There's no way to directly measure the ROI of coming to a meeting like United. There's really no way to calculate it, especially if you have new account executives or project coordinators or recruiters in the office or individuals that maybe have a lot of recruiting experience, but aren't familiar with MRI... Having them be in the office around us day-to-day is one thing, but it's an entirely different experience for them to come meet other people across the network – to see how big MRI really is and to get a feel for it. There's just no way to calculate an ROI on that.

You're going to love United. You're going to come back energized. You're going to learn new things. You're going to meet some cool people. This is something that's going take you to the next level and really light a fire under your ass, which is ultimately what it does every time.

We wanted to make sure everybody experienced the MRI Honor Awards. We've got a lot of new people that are inside their first year or two with the business. So, to see that recruiting is this big, and to see the success, the awards, and the numbers that these people are putting up – it reframes things for them – and they're going to bring that back to the office. Having them see those awards, that presentation, and the atmosphere – they're all dead set on being on that stage come 2023.

The Honor Awards event is really inspiring. One of my rookies told me, 'I want to be up there next year.' So that really helps. It gives me something to drive them towards every single month.

Attending Pacesetter rejuvenated my hard-working team and provided me the opportunity to connect with fellow MRINetwork owners.

Attending events like MRI's Summit makes you think differently and expand thought processes.
